ENDOVASCULAR INTERVENTIONS (EVi)
Inspite of all efforts in prevention, peripheral artery disease (PAD)
is continuing to gain more importance. It affects more than 20 percent of the population over 70 years of age.
Even today many amputations are performed without prior angiography. But catheter treatment of PAD, especially total
occlusions and below knee interventions, is improving rapidly and will soon set a new standard of treatment.
Endovascular Interventions (EVi) will provide comprehensive knowledge about the technique of catheter therapy of PAD.
Interaction is the key to success. The essential element of EVi is the combination of high quality. live-case presentations and related topical lectures.
This dynamic format is essential for stimulating open and informal discussions between the participants, faculty
members and live-case presenters and is one of the main aims of Evi.
Evi takes place on December 3 – 4, 2008, just before ICCA 2008 - 8th International Course on Carotid Angioplasty and Other Cerebrovascular Interventions.
